Small groups
At RBC we offer a range of small groups which are a vital part of our church life and we encourage people to join one.
The groups meet at various times of the week (mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends) and cover a wide range of ages, backgrounds and interests.

Some brief information is shown below on what the groups do, where they meet, and their leaders. Most of them are held in people’s homes.
For more information on any of these groups please contact Mary Willis, our Small Groups Co-ordinator, via the Church Office.

What do people say?
"It has given me companionship, a sense of belonging and a knowledge that I am not on my own in my walk of faith."
"Good fellowship helps me open the Bible to see what God has to say and not be afraid of not understanding; as we all need help."
"From my group I get a feeling of belonging. A place where ideas can be exchanged without fear of feeling foolish or uninformed. And great cakes!!!"
"A chance to listen to other points of view, to broaden my own outlook and understanding of the Bible."
What are the small groups for?
The aims are:
- To promote Christian fellowship, encouraging each other to continue in our faith through the good and bad times
- To be a forum to discuss spiritual issues in a safe and informal environment
- To be part of the prayer life of the church
- To encourage each other to develop our spiritual gifts
- To be a vital factor in fulfilling our mission statement:
“to build a vibrant Christ-centred community with a vision for extending His kingdom”
