Hand in Hand

Hand in Hand at RBC'Sharing God's love with Deaf and hearing people through British Sign Language.'

Hand in Hand is part of Ruislip Baptist Church. We are a Deaf-led group that meets twice a month on our own and twice with the main church fellowship.

We are a group for the Deaf community. Our dream is to bring the Father's love to the Deaf and the hearing through British Sign Language (BSL).

On the 1st and 3rd Sunday of each month, the morning worship services, 11am at RBC, include a BSL hearing interpreter. Sunday groups are provided for all age groups (creche to 18-yr olds). Please let us know if Deaf children are coming and we can arrange signed support for them.

On the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month, we host a separate 'Hand in Hand' Deaf-led Service at RBC where we explore God's love for us. Deaf-led services are always signed by one of the Hand in Hand group. The Hand in Hand Deaf-led service starts at 10.30am, with tea and coffee served for these services only.

We also have separate social events, for fellowship and friendship, and occasional away days where we meet to think about and explore a particular topic.

Daily Bible devotions in BSL are available via this excellent resource here.

A light meal is provided for a small charge. Children have a separate area to play, chill and have fun.

If you are interested in this group, please contact either Michelle Murray (by SMS TEXT 07736 670618 or via e-mail), or John Kumar (SMS TEXT 07745 686466).  We give you a very warm welcome.
