This section provides information on the range of groups and activities offered for children and youth at the church. These include groups on Sunday mornings, during the week, and more occasional one-off events.

Sunday morning groups

On a Sunday morning we run a range of groups for children, which visitors are very welcome to involve their children in.  The children leave the main worship service after the first 20 minutes and go into their groups.

 

Crèche

A supervised crèche for children aged 0 – 3 with age-appropriate toys.

Sunday morning from 11.20am – 12.15pm in the main hall at RBC.

Stars

A Bible based group for children aged 3 - 5 (school reception and nursery age).  Group singing and story time followed by play and craft.  A chance for young children to be introduced to Bible teaching from an early age in a friendly, age appropriate manner.

Sunday morning from 11.20am – 12.15pm upstairs at RBC.

Sparks

A Bible based group for children aged 5-7 (school years 1 and 2). The aim of the group is to tell the good news of Jesus in a simple, easy way through discussion, drama, games, singing, story telling and craft. The children are also encouraged to pray and learn verses from the Bible in a fun way through games.

Sunday morning from 11.20am – 12.15pm upstairs at RBC.

Xtreme

Xtreme is a fun and lively club for 7-11 year olds.  Bursting with Bible-based games, crafts, stories, talks, prayer, drama, discussion and sillyness!  An exciting environment in which children can learn about the Bible and how God is relevant in their lives today. Sunday morning from 11.20am – 12.15pm upstairs at RBC.

Holiday Club

For children aged 7 – 11, Holiday Club runs during the first full week of the Hillingdon School summer holidays. Topically themed, the Bible based club gives children an opportunity to find about what it’s like having Jesus as their friend and to learn and understand some awesome things about God and the Bible. Singing, team games, craft, discussion, a gunge tank and lots of noise and fun makes for a great start to the summer holiday period. And if you enjoy Holiday Club you’ll love Xtreme!

Sparkle Party and Shine Party

 

balloonsWe run a Sparkle Party for 4-6 year-olds, and a Shine Party for 7-11 year-olds.  These run on or near to October 31st as a fun and healthy alternative to Halloween, from a Bible perspective.

This gives the children the opportunity to enjoy themselves with singing, games, craft, a talk, lots of noise and activity and fun.

Annually, on or near to 31st October.
